Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.
They look good and now my partner has used them twice, i am even more happy. He has a disability and has difficulty walking so the front are important in the fact they dont make him trip. He is walking to the best of his ability and he is finding them great to walk in cosy too

comfortable and well made
Reasonably priced, durable and quite comfortable for the price
however, they were advertised as being waterproof in the shop
but after 5 minutes on wet grass my feet were soaking wet. They
are still good value but if you are looking for a waterproof shoe you
need to look somewhere else'

For a cheaper shoe these are really good. The quality of the stitching and materials is as good as shoes far more expensive. They offer a lot of protection and look built to last when faced with tough terrain like scree slopes. The soles offer excellent grip and are thick and stiff enough not to feel rocks through. Their toughness does make them heavy (525g size8) and a bit clumpy feeling but overall comfort on long walks is still good. No rubbing or tight pressure points. The sole does seem to be wearing quite quickly which is always a trade off because for good grip you need softer rubber.
