I am just about to go on around the world trip and was contemplating getting a new bag.

The Osprey Farpoint Trek 55 is such a well thought out bag, with a rain cover/Airporter built-in, with an airflow back system and lots of little nooks and crannies it will do me perfectly.
On top of this, the bag has clips for the Osprey daylite travel pack to, they've been designed to interlock with each other.
On top of this theres to big warranty which you get with Osprey.
