Excellent product. As expected.

Best tent ever

Excellent quality throughout, very quick to pitch. I used on a motorbike trip around Scotland both rough camping and in campsites. Can be used as a quick shelter as the single pole threads through the outer tent first, so you can sit inside or in the doorway by your campfire or cooking. I only attached the inner mesh tent when it was time to sleep.
I like inner tent being separate coz you can keep it dry if raining.
Great size for sitting up in and long enough for a good nights sleep. I am 6' 1" tall. I also managed to fit two panniers a 60 litre holdall and my boots in porch. Great tent.

Well-rounded tent, can't really fault it.

Excellent, very quick to pitch and take-down. Survived high winds and rain on a clifftop without any problems, very robust. Comes with good solid pegs, Is cosy inside, I'm exactly 6' and wouldn't want to be too much taller to fit in this tent. Is room inside for a bag/medium-sized pack. The darkened interior will be great in summer to ensure a good nights sleep. Porch area outside is also large enough for storage of a bag/pack. I used this tent with a tarp to give me extra shelter from the rain and wind, and to sit/cook under... an excellent set-up with a functional but small footprint.

Great quality tent at a price hard to beat

Took this tent on a four week cycling trip in Europe. Quick and easy to pitch with one alloy (hence very unlikely to break) pole. The tension adjusters make it easy to make sure the fly is taught, pulls down tightly to the ground to reduce draughts, and keeps the tent stable. Storage space is not huge, but sufficient both inside an outside the inner tent. A tall person might find it a bit small - I'm 178 cm (5'10") and for me it was perfect. Quality is as you'd expect from Berghaus.,

Q&A (1)

Do you sell replacement poles for a Berghaus Peak 3.1 tent?

27th Jun 2019, submitted by Eddie

Hi Eddie. We do not range Berghaus poles as an individual item, we do however have Vango alloy poles that are the same size that match the original poles or you could source a alloy pole of your choice. I hope this helps.
