Providing great value and space in one, the Avon Deluxe has a triple pole dome construction and large porch allowing you to camp comfortably outdoors. From festivals to weekend trips, the Avon is easy to pitch, reliable and allows you to sleep comfortably even if it rains.
In my previous review, I mentioned the disappointment that the tent pegs were missing from the delivery. I’ve since received excellent service from Blacks, who after reading my review have sent me the pegs. I’m very grateful for their actions and will continue to buy our camping equipment from them. Thank you very much

Bought the tent last summer for motorcycle weekends but did not use due an illness. We have now used it with this fabulous summer weather and we are thrilled with the size and look of the tent. We got the 3 man tent to have that extra space for our biking gear and helmets - leaving the spacious porch for other uses. Very quick and easy to erect. The only issue we had was when we opened the tent to camp for the 1st time-there were no pegs enclosed! We regretted not checking the contents when it arrived last year but didn’t anticipate the lack of pegs. It was too late to inform Blacks.

Much bigger than I expected
I wanted a tent to put on the back of my motorcycle for a holiday next year. Ordered on line, along with sleeping bag etc etc, delivery was really quick and I got a bag full of stuff all at discounted prices. The tent was reduced to £50.
Put it up to check it, it is huge inside, plenty of room for me and my bike gear.
So easy to pitch on my own, took about 15 mins.
Excellent value, very pleased with my purchase.

Great Tent For Price
Just came back from Torridon Wester Ross , used this tent , kept midges at bay in sleeping compartment, keep watertight in the worst of scottish weather, was easy to put up, even easier after first time as you can keep sleeping compartment attached, only downside is the condensation which gathers in the porch overnight, but at this price you could afford to buy a new tent every year,

Perfect festival tent!
Ideal for festival use. Took mine to Leeds fest.
Ample room at the front to store muddy wellies, chairs etc.
It didn't leak at all despite heavy rain for the majority of the weekend. Easy to put up for novice campers- only took us 10 minutes. Great value for someone wanting a more reliable tent than a pop up.

Spacious tent perfect for festivals
This tent is massive, it's labelled as a 3 man, but that usually means 3 people all squished in like sardines, this gives plenty of space for 3 adults and the porch is huge too so you can keep all your stuff away from the sleeping area. The height in the sleeping compartment is also really tall and you don't get too claustrophobic. I found the waterproofing held up extremely well during heavy summer downpours. It's a dome shaped tent and so the bedroom is self supporting so if someone knocks your guide ropes out in the middle of the night it wont collapse on you, perfect for festivals!

Bought this in the sale so for £45 bargain! And is actually what it says it is i.e. a 3 man tent that comfortably sleeps 3 (as opposed to 3 very close friends with no luggage!) Plenty of space for 3 s

A terrific bargain for a workhorse campsite tent.
Its inaugural trip was to Lundy where it survived a night of sea gales with minor damage to a pegging loop. A doddle to pitch and strike with unobstructed pole sleeves. Didn't leak from roof or floor.

Wind blows past its skirt
The photos show the porch, where the waterproof outer has a skirt, that folds under the groundsheet, which overlaps it. The dome half, does not have a skirt at all, and rests 0-3" above the grass.
