Haven't used it yet, but it's very light in weight and when rolled up it's super compact, which is great

Eurohike down sleeping bag

Great value for a down bag

As someone who only camps at festivals, I wanted a sleeping bag that was comfortable and roomy but also could deal with the odd very cold night. After my first festival, I can say I am delighted with my choice! Easily warm enough to sleep in just boxers, enough room to move around in with my arms inside (I'm a stocky 5'11), it dealt with the one cooler night easily. I'm looking to see how it copes in early Sept, I expect to be pleased. The only down side is the lining isn't quite to my liking, but this is easily solved with a good lining (which makes cleaning easier).

Lightweight warm and good value

Reading a few of the reviews of this bag, I think some people forgot to get into the bag when they slept. This bag is tiny, light and has incredible loft. I used it with the Eurohike liner down to -8 this winter and was very warm. In short its excellent.

So far, so good

I purchased this sleeping bag for a wild camping trip in the Lakes. It fitted nicely into my rucksack, not taking up too much room. On the night, the temperature went down to 7c, which is right on its comfort rating. I personally believe that the bag could easily go below this, as I woke in the night to find myself too hot. I normally wake up finding myself too cold, so I was pleasantly surprised. So far I have seen no evidence of it losing its filling. There are much better bags available, but at this price point, I don't think it can be beaten.

Really warm and great value

This is a really warm sleeping bag and great value for down too. It's light and packs down really small so is easy to carry/transport. I feel the cold but this bag kept me warm all night. The zip can be used on both sides which I also found really helpful when zipping myself in. The only thing I dislike is the outer fabric is quite firm and makes a bit of a rustley noise.

Very disappointing

I had high hopes for this sleeping bag as it seemed like good value for downs feathers, however it is much too wide and the downs feathers leak from the seams in quite vast quantities.

Not fit for purpose

Did not even keep me warm in Oxfordshire in early August so I can't use it for my planned trips when night temperature might fall to zero.Very disappointing.

Ideal for DofE. Loads of features. Value for money.

Bought this bag for DofE expedition. Ditched heavy synthetic bag for this 2/3 season down bag. Value at £100. But bagged it in the sale and received an extra 15 % off for my first order with Blacks.

The best ever sleeping bag!!!

I purchased this one over a year ago - along with my fisher mans bed (nakered shoulder which can't be fixed :0(. It's the best buy ever - I'm always freezing cold on my feet - not with this one thanku

Good bag at a reasonable price

bought this bag for a trip to iceland , At first it felt really thin and I was worried about keeping warm but regardless of thickness it seems to keep you warm.was about 1 degree with 50 kph wind.

But can't really answer this until I've slept in it at 3300m in a few weeks time!

I have not had any confirmation that the order I thought I had made yesterday (24 Feb) for a Blacks Down 500 sleeping bag to be delivered to an address in Lymington has been received. I do not have an order number. Please advise.
