Berghaus Air Shelter

Perfect. We needed a shelter for the beach and additional space when camping. This is brilliant. I’m not a natural camper and I can put this up and take it down myself. I love it. Waterproof and also great for sun shelter.

Great waterproofing and wind protection

Had this now for just over a year. Only used a handful of times and now started to deflate. Contacted Berghaus who stated they provide a lifetime guarantee and only Blacks or Millets stock this item. Visited Millets for an exchange or refund and was told without proof of purchase they can not do anything. Disappointing customer service as these are the only stores to stock, lifetime guarantee so makes no difference on proof of purchase but no offer or exchange or refund.

We’ve been using our Air Shelter since March, and I mean it’s been up non stop for 6 months in all weather conditions. It shrugs off wind and rain, had 45mph gusts and it was unfazed, also not had the need to pump it up since original install. Comes with a decent pump, yes the connections are a bit fiddly but apart from that’s it’s a quality built solid product.

Purchased the shelter to accompany my Berghaus Air 6XL tent. I’ve had the tent for a few years and had no issues so decided to buy the shelter as an addition thinking it would be the same quality. However the airbeams in the shelter are much thinner and didn’t stand up to moderate winds. After 3 nights of it collapsing, I packed it away. Very disappointed as it did look great. Had full refund without issues so great customer service from Millets.

Th instructions lack detail. For example we have a pump with several different connection end pieces. What are they for? No information given.
To inflate the shelter we are told is 'connect the pump'. Where? Unless you get the connections exactly right it will leak air on inflation.. Nothing on this .The worst thing by far is a total failure to tell you have to pack the thing up.. I also notice that the videos give no help either.
When eventually you get it up it seems a good piece of kit, good plastic zips and tabs, enough pegs , good design and does come down quickly if not fully

The air shelter is our 4th Berghaus air range purchase and a great addition to our camping equipment. As with the whole range, the quality is top notch. The shelter is versatile and due to the British weather, almost a must have, to either shelter from the rain, wind or insects, whilst still bei g able to sit out in the evenings. Clearly the word on quality is out there, campsites are full of the various Berghaus air tents. We've hones for the air 6, porch and now shelter, also with the matching windbreak; all a bit matchy matchy, but for us it's the perfect combination. Could not recommend the shelter or the rest of the range highly enough. Easy to inflate and very easy to pack away again, just take a bit of time to get all the air out of the tubes and it will easily fit back into the generous carry bags.

I have given 4 stars as I haven’t actually used the gazebo as yet but I have put it up to check all is ok prior to my upcoming camping trip, easy to put up & take down really good quality very pleased

Not as big as expected but item is good

Pretty good product, would benefit from more means to attach hanging items, and double ended zips on all panels, but hey, it's a brilliant £250 air shelter, not a £1000 awning.

Easy to setup the air shelter

Perfect extra room if you have an air 4. We tried an air porch but really unstable for the smalk 4 berth, however this gives fantastic additional space and is so easy to errect just like the tent. If you are thinkibg of buying the porch reconsider because this is a much better quality product.
