Great
Fantastic tent. Like new.
I was worried about ordering a refurbished tent, but I needn't have been. Apart from the poles being slightly dusty, everything else seemed brand new. It erected without issue and withstood a storm on the first night. An absolute bargain for the size of this beast. The darkened sleeping area is great too, helping the kids sleep longer, and the head hight and living area are roomy. I am really happy with this purchase.
Unfortunate
I received the item quickly and I was happy with the overall quality of this reconditioned tent. Unfortunately as i put the tent up for the first time (in a camp site, on the day of receipt) I found that the elastic holding the poles together had snapped. Having to rethread the elastic, made erecting the tent an unnecessary challenge while my 6 year old ran around. Sadly when putting the tent down, I found that the elastic had snapped in another pole also. I expect better from reconditioned and I have not yet received a response from customer service, aside from this request for a review..
Vango Tent
Refurbished but genuinely as good as new. Only had it set up in the garden so far but heading on a camping trip next week - im sure the British summer will test it.
Solid unit when erected, generous headroom and separate sleeping space all very good so far. Will probably buy some more solid pegs but other than that great value.
