Whether it’s a sudden downpour or an expected shower, this lightweight and packable two-layer waterproof will keep you protected. The Aonach has been upgraded with a stretchy outer material for active use and given a mountain fit that is cut to allow excellent freedom of movement while still allowing room for layering over a midlayer.
The updated jacket now boasts a YKK Vislon® AquaGuard® Centre front zip that, along with an internal storm guard, seals the jacket so no water can get in. It has a mountain hood that’s fully adjustable and features a stiffened wire peak, helping you tighten the fit in high winds and maintain visibility during a downpour.
Pit zips are on hand to help you dump heat quickly, which come in handy on those steep, scrambly sections of a mountain trail. And if you get lucky and manage to avoid the British rain, the Aonach will pack neatly into your rucksack while still leaving room for your jelly sweets!

Bought for a present
First hike of 2025
Well I used the jacket on my first hike of the year, very impressed with the quality kept me warm and dry on a very cold & wet 3 hours. Highly recommend this jacket for the price!
It’s ok.
Small on the sizing and not as warm as I was hoping. Quite a thin coat. Brought it for my son to wear to and from school.
Seems to be of a good quality though.

Excellent Waterprof Coat
Used during Storm Darragh, waterproof, excellent fit. Sufficient pockets, I like the under arm vents. Hood blew off a few times but it was Force 8 winds so can’t really fault that!
Fantastic jacket
I wanted a jacket for walking the dog but didn’t want to spend a fortune. Hands down the best waterproof jacket I’ve bought!!
OEX first wear. !!
After seeing this waterproof jacket on TV sported by one of the pair exploring Yorkshire recently, and in need of a good waterproof I took the plunge and ordered a size large. Perfect size for my 5ft 8in, 11.5st frame. With room for a couple of layers. Lovely shape jacket, good zips, good size hood but nowhere for it to go when not needed, nice soft feel an all round winner. At £99 and a further discount brought it down to £84.15. Not sure why the postage was not free but never mind… been out in a shower so far so good. Win Win…
Great jacket
Wore it first time today on a 8 mile canal walk in the rain, really light and comfortable to wear, kept me dry and cozy all the way, love it.
Excellent coat
Has been tried and tested in recent heavy rains, good rain keeping quality and quick drying, even the cuffs.
Excellent hood, fully adjustable and good protection from wind and rain. Adjusters for hood draw cord took some searching for in collar. Sizing good and very comfortable to wear
