The jacket is constructed with Mountain Equipment’s own Drilite® Loft fabric, which is extremely robust, windproof and highly water-resistant. Drilite® Loft is a Nylon fabric with a microporous Polyurethane coating, treated with a Durable Water Repellent to help keep you dry and protected during harsh winter conditions
Featuring two zipped hand warmer pockets and inner security pocket, as well as an adjustable and removable hood, styled in a 3-panel design for a perfect fit and added warmth.

Mountain Equipment lightline
Sleeping Bag With Sleeves.
Bought on friends’ recommendations for trips to Northern England, Scotland & Scandinavia. Used ME’s down traceability program to see this Lightline jacket’s min. 700 FP down is nearly 800 FP. With almost 300g down fill, no wonder some say it’s a sleeping bag with sleeves. 2 decent sized hand pockets & 1 inner zip pocket. Prefer 1 or 2 dump-mesh pockets. Well insulated helmet compatible & detachable hood. 30D rip-stop fabric’s pretty durable & water resistant. Stitch through baffles mean it’s best for cold & dry days. Fit true to size, if a bit boxy. Bit bulky to wear under a hardshell, but could be worn over one. Be great if ME made a dual off-set stitch through baffle & heat reflecting scrim version for better water & wind resistance.
