Not true to size
As expected
Good price and good delivery, as expected from Blacks. Neat fit and high instep , as expected from Merrill. Worn a few times, on different terrain and changeable weather, and find them to be absolutely fine. ( To allow shoes to do their job, you need the right socks ).
Not suitable
Nice shoes but they were too small

Not yet worn them, however, they're not very substantial. Not sure how long they'll last. Certainly wouldn't pay £140 for them !
No grip whatsoever
These are the worst walking shoes I've ever bought. The soles have no grip and I regularly slip in wet weather. My converse are less slippery. Not fit for purpose at all.
Missing in action
No idea what these boots might be like as they've never been delivered.
An excellent hiking shoe but...
A well made and stylish hiking shoe but unfortunately not enough room in the toes department for me.
