Size guide is wrong

They are warm but the size guide is all wrong. I needed a fit for size 5 and the guidance is M, but they are massive. I bought another pair of medium socks based on size guide and now have 2 pairs of huge socks which I can't return as I was too eager in opening the package to try them on.
