Pperfect tent just what I ordered
Can't really fault this brilliant little tent!
Definitely not a 2 person tent, I'd go for the Banshee 300, can hardly fit 2 sleeping mats in the 200
Aside from that, no complaints!
Holds up well for a week of camping, no water came through, handles wind fine too.
I'm 6'2 and had no problems with length, sure the height isn't great for sitting up, getting changed etc but what do you expect for a small backpacking tent.
Sweet little tent, hugs the ground. Sturdy, feels safe.
Only a mad fool would consider this a two person tent though. Fine for one and a bag.
I used this for the first time last night on top of a mountain, it was very strong winds so I didn't get much sleep but it was still standing in the morning, nice and light and the carry bag is a good size so it packs away easily. The bottom doesn't sit very flush to the floor which doesn't help in the wind but I would recommend this tent due to weight and cost and ease of assembly.
I have owned a Banshee before and wished I had not parted with it so decided to buy another.
This is not the Pro version, it is the Experience version. I was disappointed it was not the Pro and nearly sent it back.
Its a good tent for Wild Camping with its low profile and green flysheet. The Orange inner is less easy to hide.
Plenty of room for 1 person and the spec is still good.
If I could improve it, I would have a bit more head room and larger side porch.
But.. for the money it is a very good buy.
I recommend it. Buy it, use it and enjoy it.
I bought the pro version of this tent, which doesn't seem to be available anymore, and although the quality and performance are both excellent, it's too small for me. I'm only 6'0" and when lying down, my feet and head are touching the inner walls. Sitting is also very uncomfortable, as my head is squashed into the ceiling. Despite this, it a great little tent, and would be perfect for anyone 5'9" or under.
Please be aware that this is not the Pro version and does not carry the same accolades
Excellent, easy to erect, strong and light, nicely compacted.
I am touring Scotland right now , wild camping in many different terrain, tonight i have pitched overlooking the sea , wish i could attacth a photo to show you. My tent is so happy to be embracing the elements for what she was designed for . Weldone Vango
My husband and I have been walking around the world since 2017 and camping in this tent. Despite it's age, we were very impressed at how it coped in the recent 10 hour long storm of winds to 60mph. We cannot praise the design of this tent enough and highly recommend it. Well done Vango!
Having read some of the reviews, and at 6' tall, I was concerned about 'headroom', but even on an inflatable (single) bed, no worries.
Along with most tents, I'd subtract 1 from however many people the manufacturer says it will sleep comfortably - which is the only reason I've not given this tent five stars.
Take the time to read the instructions before you set it up for the first time (I didn't regarding the tension bands bands going through the inner) and you'll have an excellent ONE man tent.
