I brought a vapour-rise...
I brought a vapour-rise guide jacket 6 years ago. The zip failed after much daily use. I liked it so much I thought I would buy a second but the build quality of this jacket is not as good as my last one. The old jacket was all 5 stars.

I’ve owned three of these jackets (two appropriated by my sons!) and I would highly recommend them for cold dry conditions. I’ve used them in Lapland on ten occasions for cross country skiing and snowshoeing, absolutely perfect! Last week temperatures dropped to-22c, the jacket and VR trousers were so warm and comfortable. Some days I only had a base layer underneath the jacket and was fine. I’ve used the jacket in the Arctic in temperatures of-35c for activities, no problem. Very versatile and well designed. Used in The Lakes for winter climbing and walking, always works just fine..
