I've been looking for...
I've been looking for a lightweight waterproof insulated long jacket for a while, especially one with a detachable hood and this item definitely fits the bill. It does fit a little snug, but that might be down to my lack of walking over the past year, rather than the actual cut of the jacket!!

First purchase of this brand.. Love the colour and the fit nice and warm... Perfect length to knee. Water resistant too.
Amazing coat
First purchase of this brand of coat worn the first time today in this cold windy weather felt absolutely amazing. So light the weight of the coat. colour his navy blue love it and so warm.. Size wise I'm a size 12 got medium fits perfectly with still enough room for a jumper although u don't need one has the coats that warm to wear... Looking for another purchase soon...

I like the colour and style very much and even though I noticed that the logo of Jack Wolfskin is no longer embroidered I am very happy with the quality of the product.

This is a warm,...
This is a warm, wind and rain proof coat that is surprisingly lightweight, with a good length to cover above the knee. Great to be able to detach the hood if needed and good size pockets. Ideal coat for walking the dog on cold and windy days.

This coat is really...
This coat is really warm and cosy. The hood is a good design and it has a handy inner pocket. I have worn it in extremely wet and windy conditions and it has performed very well. The zip is smooth and easy to fasten. It is definately a darker blue than the picture but that didn't bother me.

Just what I was...
Just what I was looking for a think, warm coat not made from down.
Warm, comfortable, nice and long
I was in search of a long, insulated coat, not made with feathers, not in black, and not belted. It took me ages to find this one, and it hasn't disappointed. It comes down to the knees (I am 5'3"); I can sit on a cold metal bench and not feel a thing! It's very comfortable at size S, which is my normal size. There's enough room for a big jumper and a small scarf underneath. I've had the coat only five days and have worn it every time I've left the house. The color is navy.
The reason I can't give it 5 stars is the zipper. It gets stuck 3-4 times on every journey up or down, which is a pain.

This is a lovely coat , long warm and cosy , I'm a little disappointed with the colour ,I was expecting a nice blue , the coat is actually navy blue ,I did keep the coat as it fitted lovely true to size , I'm only small 5ft 2in the coat come just below my knees .

Need some advice?
This is lightweight, but I looked like I was wearing a not very attractive bulky sleeping bag. It's probably warm enough if you're walking the dog, or hiking vigorously. I bought it for camping, and for the time spent sitting outdoors I'm going to need something warmer. Admittedly I feel the cold quite acutely, so this coat may work well for someone else.
