Lasted maybe 20 Wainwrighs

Lasted 20 Wainwrighs. I noticed they started letting in despite me looking after them and using the suggested sprays etc. Now they have split on the front and they are going back under warranty. Very comfortable so I have gave them 2 stars but this is useless if they don't last.

Love these trainers. This...

Love these trainers.
This is about the 3rd pair I've owned.
Very comfy and the Goretex helps keep my feet a bit drier when out walking the dog.

Not as good as the brand / price suggests

I’ve owned my pair a couple of months and recently put them through an average walk through wet / muddy conditions.
Good points are, they are light, warm and look pretty good.
Negatives are the lace binding has already begun to fray and the are not waterproof when faces with a puddle which overlaps the toe cap.
If I’d paid the full price I would have deducted another star. North face are clearly moving away from quality (I’ve owned several items) and looking at making a quick buck based on their standards of the past.

general walking boots.

To be honest these boots are ok for walking the dog etc however wore them on a medium hike in the lakes and my feet were sore. They are still going strong for general use but to be honest so are a good pair of trainers oh and they look decent.

Fell apart within 3 months. Well they split.

Pretty poor show on Northface part. I’ve been buying north face for 20 years so bough a pair of these bad boys within 3 months of use at weekend. So might have been 5klms x however many sundays they where unwearable. Sad day. Save your money. Not blacks fault but cannot return them either. Sent them to Northface and they couldn’t give a hoot ! They’ve said wait till lockdown is over and send to Blacks.
O joy.

Sadly disappointed

This is my third pair of North Face walking shoes and I have always been delighted with them, however this pair are very disappointing , despite being very comfortable and stylish they have never been waterproof and after 6 months have started to split and I will need to replace. I would suggest that this is a summer boot.

Shame

Stylish and very comfortable but the boots have never been waterproof, one year in and the soles are wearing badly, the uppers are splitting and fraying.

I use the boots for general walking through forest areas. In my opinion would not hold up well over rough ground for long.

It is a real shame as they are very comfortable boots but possibly North Face are resting comfortably on their name.

The boots could be so much better.

Disappointed

Comfortable enough, fitted very well - 4th time out, leaked very badly, both boots, muddy and wet grass walk admittedly, however, shouldn’t have leaked as bad as they did - would have returned them, however, purchased before Xmas - Didn’t wear immediately so out of the 28 days - Poor product it would seem, leaving a disappointed customer
You never know - When/if the big name manufacturer or indeed the big name supplier reads this, perhaps will offer some support - I’ll re-post if they do

Very comfortable

Amazingly comfortable and light,I’ve only had them a month but they’re holding up ok over winter.
Long term,I think they’ll be a good summer boot, and won’t replace my winter leather boots.

Started off great but fell apart after a year

When I first started wearing these boots I was very impressed. Very comfortable, and completely waterproof.

12 months on and they're falling apart. they leak water in seconds and the canvas has worn on the bend points.

Really disappointing and a total waste of money.

Soles wore out to quickly

I purchased a pair of North Face Sakura shoes. The soles wore out in no time, made from a sponge type material. The tops of the shoes are still fine. I have had North Face shoes before and these type are not up to usual North Face standard.
