I bought this for shoes and jackets, I tried on my sneakers and it kind of work (meaning I wasn’t sure it was working); then on my jacket and yes it added repellent protection, but still wasn’t not sure it was working. So I tried on to another jacked and yes it works, it totally makes water drops roll over, but it left a whiteish stain all over it (it was orange color, wind proof jacket; the first one is black, no stain). So I guess it works fine or great depending on the fabric
