Pros: This is a robust harness on which the metal buckles, webbing and stitching are very well finished and robust. I have been able to lift my Lab in and over difficult terrain with ease and confidence. It also comes equipped with two waterproof pockets, one each side, which are handy. Cons: despite selecting the harness according to the manufacturer's size chart, there is a lot of surplus webbing which doesn't tuck away neatly or easily in the underbelly cushioning sleeves (thanks to ill-considered placement of velcro fasterners) and because the ends are sealed in a particular way to fit through the buckles, cutting off surplus is not really an attractive DIY proposition. Since the buckles are designed for strength rather than convenience, and therefore have no snap-on feature, having to fully undue the webbing in order to take the harness off and adjust it every time the harness is put back on is time-consuming and requires a patient dog as well as a patient owner. Overall a sturdy harness that would benefit from a couple of improvements to sizing and webbing management. At the price I paid, I would say unhesitatingly that it represents good value for money.
