Cut down to fit under self inflating multimat. Another layer, lightweight, cut offs make a great seat.

The mat was a good thickness, was very sturdy and kept me nice and warm on my camp bed compared to my friend who was freezing on a blow up bed.

Useful piece of equipment

Quite a big mat to carry when rolled up. More than wide enough to lie on but could be trimmed smaller. A great mat which like any of the foam matts provides good R value for the weight. Could be doubled in half in an emmergency to provide say an injured skier with protection from the ground. Also with no risk of puncture and no pumping up, very simple to use, reducing task loading and stress.Would also offer good protection to a blow up mat when more comfort is desired. A little thin to use alone if the ground is hard and bumpy. That said ok alone if you are really tired.

Arrived in good condition

Big enough to sleep on and wake up on. Excellent on its own through five seasons and under a compact inflatable for extra comfort when weight allows. Huge enough to be trimed to any shape you want, yet only 365g whole. Not as bulky for its 190cm length as you might think, and plenty tough enough for serious use. What's not to like?
