Warm and light with some tweaks needed
Good knee length, nice looking for normal wear also. Niggles - SML sizing should indicate the L is a 14/small 16, too slimly-cut sleeves excludes thick jumpers, and the one colour available dull.

Excellent coat - just what I needed - an item which would keep me dry and warm whilst out in the wilds, and then be equally at home on a trip into the city - a very understated design - I had read about the 'thin' technology and asked various people about whether a down product would be better - decided the Miette would answer all requirements after 4 months deliberations - very well cut under the arm junction so as long as you follow suit and wear 'thin' warm technology and you buy a size above normal, then perfect - the Chinese sizing is way off the mark - I am a 14 and my coat is an XL and it is only just roomy enough at the waist.........sleeve girth and length is good with soft cuffs - the double pockets are a good idea with outer pocket warmers ! not mentioned in the description was an inner zip pocket for mobile - v useful - the overall length is good at the knee as I do have a Musto Technical Tweed windproof shorter jacket for winter/and when not raining.....have worn the Miette non-stop - the alternatives had no finesse - e.g. North Face.............glad I could get the measurements and check it before I bought online - the grey mix colour is a bit different too - it has been admired by quite a few. the zip off hood is a plus and the discovery of a two-way zip, not mentioned in the info - V pleased HC
