Comfortable boot but not that durable

These boots are very comfortable and need little bedding in. For occasional light walking in fair weather they are great. For more regular wear they are somewhat lacking. I bought them for dog walking, so worn twice a day, everyday for about 3 miles each walk. just fields and paths, not heavy walking but often wet and muddy. I found the waterproofing poor, very quickly got wet feet. In under 5 months the sole had separated from the upper on one boot and two of the loops for the laces had failed. That may add up to a lot of wear (and cleaning) compared to most I guess.

Very comfortable but .....

After many hundreds of miles of dog-walking I have now seen off two pairs of these and I’m pretty sure that they are the most comfortable walking boots I’ve ever had. The reason I’ve only given them four stars is that the Goretex waterproofing only lasted a few months and the outside trim has a tendency to peel off. Despite this I’m about to buy a third pair in the knowledge that, when the Goretex fails, I can still wear them in dry weather. For wet, wintry weather I’ll be sticking to my Berghaus Supalite.

Comfortable, Supportive & High Quality

Took them on a 10km cross country walk with 25kg backpack on the first day. Boots were amazing, first time my feet haven't hurt in years despite buying high-end boots. Would 100% recommend!

Goretex hiking boot and expected to be waterproof. Just back from a 3 mile walk with the dog wearing these boots, the fourth time of wearing, and my socks are soaking wet. It had recently rained but the conditions were firm and should have been easily coped with by these boots. Very disappointed.

excellent well fitting boots. Hopefully when the mountains become open I can really put them through there paces.

Great looking boot combined with comfort and durability. It has a wide foot fitment too which is important to me as I have historical damage to my feet and ankles. Good support where needed and plenty of room to add my orthotic insoles

I can say they are waterproof having trod in several muddy Peak bogs and puddles my feet was comfortable and dry at the end of the day, for the price I paid they were a bargain

Good value boots for moderate walking. Not that padded and not tested for water proofing yet. Walked 10 miles without issue or breaking in.

Awesome boots. I bought them in England and the next day they came with me to iceland where I wore them exclusively for a week. They handled snow, ice, water, mud and rain with ease. My feet never got wet and never got hot. My feet were always the most comfortable temperature part of my body in these boots. I have also been wearing them for long walking days in NYC for 14+ hours per day and when I get back to my accommodation my feet do not hurt. They look pretty good too. Fit perfectly and would higly recommend for hiking and general causal walking wear.
