Reviewed by JOANNE MCQUILLAN - 17th Nov, 2020 Try something else Have only worn these boots a few times and already the metal hook for the lace has broken off. Unacceptable for the price. Quite a small, narrow fitting boot and definitely need to be broken in. They're also quite heavy. I wouldn't buy again.
Reviewed by Natalie Dinham - 1st May, 2020 Ok but marked on arrival Lovely quality and comfortable- no care instructions included. Slightly marked on the toe part of the right shoe. Shame becuase everyone expects perfect condition without markings on new boots. Fit is fine with mid thick socks.
Reviewed by Ros - 7th Mar, 2020 DIsappointed These boots appear to have a problem with the metal lace fixings. I had to exchange my original pair as one fixing broke after wearing only a couple of times. Now, although the boots are very comfortable, waterproof and soles in great condition one fixing has gone again on each boot. I note another review also mentions the same problem.
Review via - 31st Oct, 2019 The boots were as described. They have not yet been worn other than in the house to break them in, so can't comment on the quality of the product in use
Reviewed by Joanne Bevis - 23rd Sep, 2019 The worst boots I have ever worn! Having had my Berghaus walking boots for 15 years I thought it about time I treated myself to a new pair. After reading endless reviews and reports I tried a pair of Brasher Country Master Walking boots. They felt comfortable and supportive and I was confident in my purchase. On my first trek out in Snowdonia the boots literally ripped my feet apart. The stitching in the back of the boots was so stiff they rubbed through my Blacks walking socks into my heels. One of the lace holders became detached exposing a shard of metal. These are the worst boots I have ever the misfortune to own.
Review via - 10th Sep, 2019 The Brasher boot never fail to deliver. They're comfortable from the very first outing till the day they die. My last pair lasted 11yrs.
Review via - 23rd Jul, 2019 Good, comfortable walking boots. I walk dogs every day and used to wear trainers, which did not offer enough support, especially after spraining my ankle. These are a vast improvement. I did get a couple of blisters initially but think this was because I did not wear suitable walking socks.
Review via - 29th Jan, 2019 Great boots fit well I always wear Brashers for long walks as they are so comfortable
Review via - 24th Jan, 2019 Have only worn them a few times so far so am reluctant to give five stars although once was in very wet conditions and they certainly kept my feet dry. A slight ache under the balls of my feet after over an hour walking but hoping that'll go once they're worn in. Otherwise I would have preferred 'normal' leather rather than the swede style as I like to use wax to protect them, and prefer that look, but it seems that's only for the men.
Reviewed by MotherGeek - 7th Nov, 2018 Super Comfy and supportive These boots are really comfortable. They do feel a little high off the ground when you first wear them, but I got used to it quickly. The tongue is attached at the sides to the boot, making it impossible for water to get in that way. They offer amazing ankle support and I haven't had a single blister. I'm usually a 7.5 and ordered a size 8 to allow for thick socks - this was a good idea! FYI: If you usually find women's shoes a little narrow, go for the men's option as they are a bit wider.
Review via - 9th Oct, 2018 This looks to be a great product. Well made with great sole. Sadly, fitting not wide enough for me and regrettably had to return.
