Ordered tent and booked to go camping 10 days later, thinking I had allowed plenty of time for the tent to arrive! 7 days passed and still no tent, with Hermes tracker saying it was too big and needed to be delivered by a specialist courier!! I asked blacks to chase this a total of 3 times, with a promise of an update the first 2 times, which never happened, and eventually resulting in them saying they would have to put it down as a lost delivery! Whilst all this was going on, I lost out on the money I had paid for the pitch I booked! I was told another tent would be sent out immediately and there was plenty of stock. After another 5 days of waiting I had not received any shipping notifications, so contacted blacks for the 4th time! Whilst the agent I spoke to was helpful, he informed me after a while that there wasn’t enough stock to fulfil my order, and he would have to refund me!! So to sum all this up, I paid for a tent, waited 3 weeks, just to get a refund. I am extremely annoyed at the service I have been given, and will not be using or recommending blacks anymore!
