decent bag, but not as warm as it claims

used this during a fairly warm night on a hike recently and i'm sad to say it didn't perform as well as i expected, I was never cold as such, but it just didn't seem to keep the heat in very well, so i wasn't particularly warm either, should be fine during the summer months though

Sleeping bag was wide enough for me to wriggle about in and not get tangled. Very cosy

Good for warmer weather

I was looking for some extra comfort so I recently went with this rectangle-shaped bag. Used it during a trip to Dartmoor in mid-August and it was definitely more comfortable than a mummy-shaped bag. Most nights I had to wear more layers to avoid feeling cold so I would take the season rating with a pinch of salt.
Asides from that, it's a bit bulky while packed, and on the heavier side at 1.83kg.
Good bag for short hikes/warm temperatures.

Q&A (5)

Is this sleeping bag good for autumn weather conditions

28th Jul 2019, submitted by Jan Walker

Hello Jan. This is a great sleeping bag ideal for mixed weather and temperatures. If you are camping through autumn though you might want to look at a warmer bag or add in a liner to help build up a touch more heat. Maybe look at a down filled sleeping bags as it will offer more warmth and better pack size. I hope this helps.

Is the outer fabric waterproof?

15th Apr 2019, submitted by Kat

Hi Kat. This is not waterproof but does have the lightest coating to help any water bead off rather than seep into the actual fabric. A great sleeping bag for spring summer use with a very comfortable shape due to the wide non tapered cut. Many Thanks.
