I bought this tent 3 years ago so I’ve tried and tested it. We’re a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The size and space within the tent suits our needs. We have a separate tarp and a separate pop up gazebo type structure which we can easily attach and remove when we need it. The tent itself is superb. When it comes to family camping this tent is worth every penny. We’ve camped in extremely stormy conditions on north coast ni and our tent was the only one left by morning- erected properly (I chose to upgrade pegs). Other tents were being ripped apart during the night and were skipped on site.
Like some other reviewers here we recently survived storm Ellen on the west coast of Wales in our Air 6, 60+ Mph winds and rain smashing down for hours on end. Tent barely moved and didn't leak at all, massively impressed and would recommend to anyone. Very quick and easy to get up and down for a tent of this size too...Awesome !!!
We have had this tent for a couple of years for just me, hubby and little dog. I use one of the bedroom pods as a washing and dressing room. We bought the porch this year, we use this for cooking and storage. This is a really roomy tent and feels huge now we have the porch, we put a toilet tent at the back of the tent by the other doorway. We absolutely love this tent.
We just camped through storm Ellen at Cheddar Gorge. 60mph winds for 36hrs, rain to match. These were the only tents standing.
My other Vango tent poles snapped! flooded the beds. Others tents got chucked in the bin - these babies didn't even wobble.
Bought this tent last year in the sale and we are so thrilled with it! So so quick and easy to put up and take down and actually fits back in the bag without a fight which is always nice :)
Stayed in 50mph winds recently and we were the only tent still standing the next day and still dry inside. Can’t rate this tent any better! Love it!
great tent and spacious for us for the 3 of us and we use the other side for storage if we dont have extra people joining us. Only tip i would give berghaus would be to also provide picture instructions for these tents. As it would of made our first attempt of putting it up less stressful
This is the first tent as have bought. We are a family of 5 and this is just perfect. Super easy to put up and put away. We bought it a few weeks ago and have spent a coupe of nights in the garden in it because of the lockdown and although we didn't have enough room for the guy ropes the tent was perfectly stable. We have also bought the porch to go with it and can't wait to use it on the campsites here in Jersey when they open. Can't recommend this tent enough plenty of room even without the porch attached.
Great tent. Easy to put up for us beginners. Plenty of room for two adults and two children.
Excellent quality of the items
Lovely big air tent at a great price
Ordered online and received promptly, fantastic value and perfect size, after unpacking from the bag for the first time and reading instructions familiarising with parts, first time up 9.5 minutes second time 6.5 minutes, just make sure pins on valves are out, obviously pegging out guy lines is going to take longer but tent is pretty sturdy without in calm weather, takes longer to put back in the bag when putting away just take time to dispel air
Great looking tent with outstanding reviews can’t wait to use it!!
Brilliant family tent; I was able to put this up on my own easily in 10 minutes, and no faffing about with poles!
Great tent, pleased with my purchase and the price that Blacks were selling it at.
great tent that no doubt we will enjoy with the children. Thanks to the Pound Sterling devaluation this is a great deal
After a lifetime of family camping with all sorts of tents we hummed and haaaa'd about risking buying an air beam. Now in retirement we also wanted a bit of space for full size campbeds and good living space. Finally we plumped for this in the end of season sale and mused all winter if we had done the right thing as it is big! Having now been away 4 times this season, I can confirm it was the right buy. Easy to erect, lots of guy ropes in case it's windy and well ventilated all round. No leaks in heavy rain. Just wish it had a wider door to use as an awning but all round, a great tent.
The easiest tent I have ever owned, there will be no more arguments amongst my family putting this tent up.
Having purchased the Berghaus Air 6 last year, we are only occasional campers, and have used the tent on three occasions now, every time it's been the same result, hassle free camping, the tent is so easy to erect due to the air beam design, it's usually up and the kettle is on in 20 minutes, I find the strengh and quality of the tent impressive, on the last trip just off Salisbury we was caught in a storm, and the tent didn't even break sweat, obviously like all things if the tent is put up correctly, it will perform correctly, we did upgrade the tent pegs after the first outing.
Only negative is that the packed size is huge, half a Passat estate boot. And heavy. So if you have a tiny car or no car that could be difficult. Other than that we loved it on first use. Very easy to put up and down. Feels sturdy (we haven’t tried in the wind - but I trust the reviews now I’ve seen it in real life), great waterproofing and tonnes of storage pockets. Which I loved as easy to keep everyone’s stuff to hand. My husband is 6ft4 and could stand up on the central area. It felt very luxurious. Front and back doors. Hanging hooks for your head torch.
