Excellent fit, very comfortable and soft feel with high (54%) merino wool content.

Socks are lovely on my husbands feet. He has problems getting socks that are comfortable due to arthritis and neuropathic pain and has loved the softness of the merino wool. Definitely getting more

My Medium pair arrived this afternoon; ordered just 2 days ago, they were made in Slovenia. I have lots of different walking / outdoor socks and these are thinner than I expected but still seem to be quite well made and have a nice feel to them. The manufacturers product label says they are £24.00 but Blacks have them priced at £15.00, with 50% discount from £30.00 don't know where this came from - feel slightly cheated on the pricing (hence one star off). They are a snug fit for a size 7 foot so hope they don't shrink when washed, others have commented to buy larger but we will see.

Be warmed, buy size bigger than normal. I bought large/L, as feet on lower of L size, despite cold wash/30deg C, they shrank. Just about wearable, would have bought XL had I known this, XL no longer available!
Shame really, they look & feel ok, plus made in Italy

Bought these for a summer walking holiday in the Alps Maritimes and they were perfect. I love them so much that I'm now wearing them most days. They are so cosy and comfortable. I'm female, shoe size 40 and the small size is just perfect. They wash very well. Highly recommended.

Bought when on offer making them good value, excellent socks but buy a size up from normal, I’m an 11 bought a 12 which are just right.

I love these socks - my feet are always cold but these socks are proving to be toasty warm.
Sizing - there seem to be multiple reviews on Blacks aluding to the lack of size information on Salomon socks. Yet nobody (including Blacks and the disgruntled reviewers) has thought to mention a)The size they bought relative to their foot size OR b)That the size is woven into the base of the sock (you can just see it in the bottom right of the photo).

So... I hope this helps - Size M is 39-41 (fits my size 7 feet perfectly), Size L is 42-44 and my size 10 Husband has not complained. You are welcome.
