performed well in both wet and hot conditions

I got these as my normal hiking boots with ankle support started to give me pain so I wanted something without ankle support.

They arrived just before I went away for a few days camping and so I tried them on and they felt fine. I then forgot to pack any other shoes for the trip so I wore these for three days in hot weather and in rain and my feet stayed dry and comfortable.

Did a ordinary 5 mile hike and I didn't notice them at all, which is how shoes should be in my opinion.

Decent pair of summer walking shoes

Read a bad review with 1 star and I very nearly sent them back.
Comfortable, with great grip, and perfect scuff proof front and added mid sole brake for all those mountain treks.
Don’t be put off and a great and low cost pair of walking shoes

Terrible

I’ve never left a review in my life but I just have to. I used to buy walking boots from blacks for many years and they were always of the highest quality but these boots are without a doubt the most uncomfortable boots/shoes/footwear I have ever worn. I have given them a few days to wear in but no change. I just had to walk for 10 mins and I was walking like an old man. A pensioner overtook me because that’s how slow I was walking. My feet are now in agony. Last time I wear them and £50 down
