Good Matt for the money.DOES self inflate.

I bought mine at half price(£12.50)but for full price it’s still quite good.not much use below 5-7 degrees unless coupled with another pad but for how thin it is it is fairly comfortable.I found it most comfortable when sleeping on my front.a good entry level pad but do take my advice,if you know your going to progress to something else and can afford to then just buy something much more expensive like a thermarest neoair or sea to summit ether light and you won’t regret it.this pad is also well suited to my DD Frontline hammock.mat DOES self inflate but it needs some time.1 breath top up!

Good bit of kit for the price.

Done 2 weeks camping in the lake district. Took this and never looked back.
Going to do the NC500 and will be taking this.

A decent mat but it doesn’t self inflate which was part of my reason for purchasing it.

It kept me off...

It kept me off the ground and warmer than air bed or cot. But it is not self inflating. It gives an interested intake of breathe when you unroll it and open valve but quickly loses interest. Only way to inflate it is by mouth which is really tricky when there’s no valve to stop the air coming back at you. Your cheeks will suffer.... also you have to cover the whole valve but not just one small hole. Once I’d done this I kept it inflated till I left for camping
Trip, when I folded it in half and topped up on arrival.
