Reviewed by Mark Watson - 9th Feb, 2021 Poor quality Terrible boot. Rivets on eyelets have failed after only several uses. Really quite disappointed as boots were a reasonable amount of money
Reviewed by Peter Short - 23rd Jan, 2021 Brasher Deteriorating QUALITY I have used Brasher boots since 1st intro (1985) First 2 pairs (manfd by K shoes, Kendal) were EXCELLENT - uppers lasted 2 resoling!. Since then deteriorating Quality. Last pair lasted 3 yrs but uppers failed and mid sole delamination. Current pair (brought Sept 2019 Ambleside). Right boot is 100% OK Left boot FAILED. Leather cracked/leak at flex point. Adjacent RAND delaminated away from upper at 9 mths age. My repair still bonded. I know how to look after walking boots. Wash after EVERY use. Slow air dry and polished weekly ONCE DRY. Current quality NOT ACCEPTABLE :BERGHAUS NOW OWN NAME!!
Reviewed by Rory Vereker - 10th Jan, 2021 Possible design flaw in sole These boots only lasted about two years. After 18 months, the rubber in the upper part of the sole started to disintegrate. There are now large gaps between the leather and the sole. It's a bit disappointing, considering the cost. Other reviewers have had a similar issue, so it may be a design flaw, which the manufacturers could address. Perhaps this is mentioned in the 60+ reviews not shown here. Also the laces broke after 3 months, I am now on my third pair. Suffice to say I won't be buying another pair of these boots!
Reviewed by STEVE MCGOWAN - 13th Dec, 2020 Seems a good value boot but the seam on the left boot leaks Good comfortable boots. But after about 3 months the seam on the left boot on the inside separated from the leather and leaked.glued the gap and kept coating the boots with shoe water proofer, natural shoe polish and it seems to have stopped the leak.
Reviewed by JOHN ATKINSON - 5th Dec, 2020 Upper and sole parting Bought for daily dog walking. Good for 2 years. Lasted two and a half years and then the soles left the uppers and leaked
Reviewed by Mark M. - 1st Dec, 2020 Started off so good... I was very impressed out of the box. Uber comfy, plenty of support and watertight. My only gripe was a slipperiness on wet wood (think small forded bridges). One winter in and I’m very disappointed. The layer of sole that meets the upper has perished allowing water in and the leather upper has now split allowing more water in. I could wear in summer but my Merrell Moabs are much more appropriate even though they’re 4 years old.
Reviewed by andrew griffiths - 22nd Oct, 2020 Very very comfy Out of the box these boots are impressive. Very comfy, but I'm glad I went up a size - from 9 to 10 - They seem very sturdy but I know they've taken a caning in various reviews as to their build quality, so I'm going to keep a close eye on them in case they deteriorate. But so far so good, I'm very pleased with my purchase so far. I bought them at a reduced price but I still expect them to be robust and long lasting. The test will come when I break them in and go for a yomp.
Reviewed by Kyle Blake - 22nd Oct, 2020 Disappointing I've had these boots a few years, and they come with me on a yearly camp (only used then!!). Since the start of lockdown, I moved back home and started walking our dog every day, much to the demise of the boots. Even with feeding the leather etc, the boots still do not hold out the water. Long grass is this boots worst enemy when wet. Looks like I need to get a new paid of boots that will keep my feet dry!
Reviewed by Nathan Shaw - 22nd Oct, 2020 Disappointing I dog walk a lot of miles - 3-4 miles every day mix of road and offroad. Previous 2 pairs of boots were Solomon which latest 12 & 14 months. I thought I'd spend more money and try a sturdier boot with Vibram soles. Out the box these Brashers were very comfy and quality seemed good - I had high hopes..... However, sad to say that 8 months down the line I'm no so happy. The leather has split where it meets the sole and now lets water through. The waterproof lining is obviously not waterproof. Real shame as the soles have loads of life left. Guess they'll just be dry weather boots now :(
Reviewed by Jonathan Rogers - 3rd May, 2020 Excellent. Really pleased with my recent purchase. Boots are very comfortable even without breaking them in. They look and feel great. Good quality and solid build.
Review via - 22nd Apr, 2020 Excellent boot. At first I thought they might be a little tight. Until I put my feet in them. Like wearing a glove.
Review via - 21st Apr, 2020 Good fit. really comfortable; although I have not yet worn them to walk any distance. Best of all ….. my family thought I had grown taller!
