The Meindl Men’s Bhutan MFS combines a waxed Nubuck leather streamlined upper with a GORE-TEX® lining to enhance durability, water protection and breathability outdoors. Developed with Vibram, the Meindl Multigrip sole delivers increased traction for greater agility on tricky sections, while a durable rubber rand protects the boot from abrasion.

Very comfy but not waterproof
Loved my boots, but they are disintegrating.
Found them heavy at first but got used to them. Loved them but after a year the sole us disintegrating. Very disappointed for the cost.
Sole is breaking away
These are my 3rd pair of Meindl boots. I have been very pleased with the fit and they're incredibly comfortable. My 2nd pair started to leak on one boot but it's maybe a wear and tear problem. But my 3rd pair have cracked heels along the back and sides. The rubber seems soft and is disintegrating. I wrote to Meindl but they told me to send them to a place to be resoled and it would cost £150!! I'm not really very pleased!!
Not as good as I thought
I bought these boots 14 months ago and they are now useless. The sole has disintegrated on one side and a chunk is missing. They started to leak after about 10 months even though I used the waterproof spray. Why use the spray when they are supposed to be waterproof gortex lined? The top has also split. Really not happy when they cost £250. I wear them rain or shine everyday to walk between 2-6 miles as I walk dogs. Yes they get wet and yes they get muddy but yes they get washed off each time but this doesn’t seem to matter. Won’t buy again.

I love these boots...
I love these boots - they’re my second pair! Delivery was swift too!
Comfortable and supportive
These are my first ever walking boots, I purchased them whilst they were on offer and saved £60.
I have flat feet and used to end up with sore feet, ankles, legs and hips after a long walk, but not anymore! I can walk miles in these and not feel a thing. They are so comfortable and supportive and I think they will last me for years.

Very comfortable - initially feels like walking on a bouncy castle. I did have to get used to ankle boots as my previous boots came below my ankles. I found that a sock with gentle grip helped. Now the boots have moulded to my feet and I have walled many miles in them.

The Bhutan is very supportive and offers plenty stability while walking on uneven surfaces. I like the memory foam system around the ankles which I consider to be more comfortable than some I have tried in the same price range. The Vibram sole will be useful when the snow and ice return.

These boots are the best. I had a pair of them before and they lasted for 10years and never leaked. I am hoping these will be just as good.

Really good value, about £50 cheaper than high street prices. We always buy Mendl, the solid leather uppers remain waterproof throughout the life of the boot, unlike fabric upper products.

TI bought these from Blacks during lockdown. The padding in Meindl boots is great for my very bony feet and these are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn due to the memory foam. But they have never been waterproof even with using spray and then wax as well (on advice from Blacks). The water seems to come in from between the sole and upper. I need to find a replacement as the leather has cracked now but don’t know what to buy.
