Crafted from top quality leather, the Bhutan features a GORE-TEX® lining to provide essential moisture protection without compromising breathability whilst memory foam moulded around the ankle paired with extra soft ankle cushioning delivers unrivalled support and make sure your feet stay comfortable with every step.
The Meindl Multigrip sole, developed in collaboration with Vibram®, delivers unrivalled traction for greater agility and confidence when crossing tricky terrains while a durable rubber rand protects the boot from abrasion. The durability of the boot is further enhanced with the streamlined qxed Nubuck leather upper that will take whatever is thrown at it.

Perfect for long walks, highly recommended.
Comfy but not waterproof
Very comfortable straight from the box however.
Wore them twice and had wet feet on both occasions, once simply from walking through wet grass. For well over 200 pounds I was far from impressed. Returned to Black's and got an instant refund.
Very disappointed with Meindle.

Great boot if they...
Great boot if they fit. I’ve owned a pair for about 5-6yrs & they’ve been a good fit, waterproof & hard wearing, despite lots of walking thru a lot of wet moorland terrain. But the leather has developed cracks, so I recently decided to replace them online. Unfortunately the new ones were that bit tighter than my superficially identical old versions, and were uncomfortable on one foot. The moral is always go to the shop & check the fit, as it clearly varies even in the same model.

inconsistent build quality and ultimatley 2 pairs failed...
Amazing boots for comfort, support and long days out. Not a problem with this at all. however, these boots are highly inconsistent. 1st pair lasted 18 months before they split across both toe boxes (I clean and proof boots weekly). Got them replaced with the same thing and the 2nd pair failed in 10 months. the second pair where stitched wrong inside the boots which meant both of the tounges wanted to go sideways in the boots. seriously unimpressed with the quality for the price. I'm trying a model up and if these fail I will no longer buy Meindl and move to Hanwag or Lowa.

Buhtan Failure
One of the most comfortable boots I have worn. First pair failed around the heel of the boot, within the curved recess. To be totally fair the boots replaced just outside the warranty period no quibble. 2nd & 3rd pair failed in exactly the same way, within a very similar time period.
Excellent quality walking boot
Excellent walking boots. Did a couple of short walks to allow the memory foam to mould to my feet and they are extremely comfortable.
The added bonus of the price in the new year sale made them a bargain!

The Meindl Bhutan is a great boot and im happy I invested in a pair, they fitted true to size and they were tracked and delivered on time with no problems, Well worth the money especially with the discounts Blacks offer, thanks Blacks very happy with my Meindl boots.
Outstanding
From all the boots I have ever worn, and that's many, these Meindl boots are amongst some of the best. I use these for hiking and military use, another quality boot I use are Lowa and these Meidl boot are on a par as far as quality, comfort, waterprooferness, durability, and built to last goes. Despite no manufacturer recommendations to fit cramp on's in snow, I have used them with cramp on's encountering no fitting issues. Treat these boots right and care and maintain them properly, and they will be an excellent servant to your feet for many years. Recomend use Meindl sport wax to re proof.

The Meindl boots - excellent quality and comfortable from the first wearing. This is my second pair of miendl boots - as someone who has always suffered with new shoes and boots - I find Meindl boots the most comfortable boots I have ever bought. (and that's a lot of boots !)
