Is this mat self inflatable or just an air bed?
Hi Sher Thank you for your question. This is a light weight self inflating roll mat. Opening the valve at the tops lets air flow into a expanding foam, depending on how quickly or how solid you want the mat you may have to add a few blasts of air. The concept is to let it fill with air, walk away from it and pitch your tent. By the time you have pitched your tent the mat should be ready to use. This style of sleeping mat take about 5 minutes to inflate. I hope this helps.
