Non waterproof walking boots

Size was spot on....
Size was spot on. These boots were so light and well fitting that I thought they might be not up to the walking job they needed to be for! However - they are so comfortable that i forget I am wearing them, which is exactly what you want. Not heavy on your foot, soft, and haven't rubbed at all. They are the first pair of boots I have bought since a pair of Solomon's about 17 years ago and I am more than pleased with them. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time.

A great product -...
A great product - I am so pleased with this purchase. After listening to the advice of Dan (Yeovil store) and trying on different styles in store I ordered these boots as they didn’t have my size.
I have always been reluctant to spend so much money on walking boots but I’ve paid for quality and comfort - well worth the money. No complaints at all.

These fitted perfectly from the off and I didn't need to 'break them in'.
I tried the Terra 11 as a potentially harder wearing boot but settled on the Cyrus and I'm very happy with them.
Slippery!

Super comfy out of the box
Mrs Moth is very happy with these ! It was the only pair of walking boots she would consider ! Style and performance etc! Had scarpa's for years they are the best I've ever had and I wear them daily ! Very happy to find these in the sale ! As I'm sure they are worth the price tag but they're always a bit better when they are better value.
good for short walks
+very pretty and temperature comfortable in warm and cold weather. good breathing. stays waterproof for long.

- rigid sole. zero shock absorbtion, zero insole padding. rough walking. wouldn't take to long several-days walk
- more slippery sole compared to other boots I had
Not Waterproof
I bought a pair of these thinking they would be the dream boot. Such a trusted brand. I sent the first pair back, after multiple leaks and thought it might just be that pair. They replaced them no problem. The second pair are the same. These are not waterproof.

Excellent!! Exactly what I was looking for.
Quality boot
Lightweight boot, sole slightly stiffer than some competitors e.g. Berghaus but ankle cuff softer. Overall a great success and well worth paying the extra compared with mid range boots esp. at sale time.
Too lightweight in quality
Good:
- comfortable wide fit
- waterproof
Bad:
- Dangerously slippy sole on ordinary surfaces.
- Very thin sole so can feel stones through it.
- Thin leather upper - no insulation
