Coat looks fantastic, however for the price I’d expect the zipper to be of better quality, not sure if I got unlucky with a slightly dodgy one, overall it’s not bad.
Good fit, warm and comfortable Great delivery service.
A great down jacket, the usual excellent quality from Mountain Equipment.
I can imagine that this will be too hot in anything above 7-8c but right now it is perfect!
My 2nd Lighline down jacket and not disappointed. My old 1 was bought in 2017 and has kept me warm in the coldest of Scottish weather. 1 niggle is that I would like to see better velcro or even button on the cuffs. After about a year the velcro completely lost all adhesion resulting in the cuffs not tight around wrists. This latest purchase seems that the velcro cuffs are perhaps better.. time will tell. Great fit, awesome hood, stows away In stuff sack (included) and the warmth from down filling is superb.
Brilliant Jacket, super warm and loads of useful pockets. Really useful that you can detach the hood.
I am 5' 11' - 32 inch waist and a medium fits perfectly with wearing two layers underneath the jacket
Having had an Arcteryx insulated jacket for the last 5 years this jacket had a lot to measure up to, but in terms of warmth and value for money this jacket is certainly an equal if not better, very pleased with it.
This is far the best coat I've ever bought for winter, it's super comfy and your hot as soon as you put it on, the only downside is as soon as the temp gets close to 10.c it's way to hot to wear then it's not a casual autumn coat it's just made for really cold temperatures so bare that In mind if your thinking of wearing this through the first few weeks of autumn because you'll regret it with how hot it gets.
The jacket is a good fit, looks smart and very comfortable to wear. It is a bit like a cross between a sleeping bag and a parka. It keeps you warm, but is very light weight. It is just what I was looking for.
An amazing coat and value for money. Very warm, fits well, waterproof and nice deep pockets. The soft microfleece, lined collar zips up and acts as a scarf. Hood is also nicely fitted and warm too.
I am 116kg, 46” chest and 6ft 1 tall and purchased an XL. Fit perfectly with just tshirt underneath and a nice amount of room if I have a fleeced 1/4 zip on too.
Excellent jacket at a good price
Extremely happy with the Mountain equipment Lightline jacket. It's very warm and not to puffy. My now go to coat when going out and very happy I got it in the sale.
Good quality product and really warm for the cold weather..
The jacket arrived just in time for Storm Darragh and the -8 predicted wind temperatures. I kept regulated warm throughout the day, stayed dry, decent-sized pockets. The drawstring on the bottom of the jacket and velcro fasteners on cuffs stopped any cold from getting through. Excellent performance in the 1st week, this will be on my back throughout the winter!
Fits perfect and is nice and warm
Really pleased with this jacket which has replaced a North Face puffer jacket. It's extremely well padded, with a high padded collar. I've removed the hood as I wouldn't wear it. The fabric is heavy duty and rain runs off, unlike my North Face which got soaked as soon as it rained. 10% off at Blacks, best price I could find.
This is probably my favourite down jacket of all time. It hits the sweet spot of down concentration & general design to make it suitable for multiple temperature levels & situations in the autumn & winter. The design cut is good, the hand warmer pockets deep, which is missing from most down & waterproof jackets, & their angle for long use more comfortable on the arms.
The cut length is great and the loft in the arm and front baffles especially spot on for warmth.
ME have tweaked the original design to improve it and this is my go to jacket in cold weather over my others.
Bought for trips up North, Scotland & Scandinavia. Used ME’s down traceability program to find this Lightline jacket’s min. 700 FP down is nearly 800 FP. With almost 300g down fill, no wonder some say it’s like a sleeping bag with sleeves. 2 decent sized hand pockets & 1 inner zip pocket. Prefer 1 or 2 mesh-dump pockets. Well insulated helmet compatible, detachable hood. 40D rip-stop fabric is quite durable & water resistant. Stitch-through baffles mean it’s best for cold, dry climes. Fits true to size, if a tad boxy. Bit bulky to wear under a hardshell, but could be worn over. Be great if ME made a dual-layer, off-set stitch-through baffle with heat reflecting scrim hard core version for better heat retention, water & wind resistance.

Re. Hampstead Park Credenza in Grand Walnut.
Exactly what materials are used to construct this uniit & in what pieces/sections? What are the max. weights the top shelf, middle shelves & drawers will safely support? Would it be possible to fit a couple of smoked glass doors to the middle shelves? And what would you advise if I wanted to attach a tubular steel under-frame to provide the unit with more strength & adjustable legs/feet to raise the the unit by 10-15cm?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Your’s in anticipation.
Best regards.
Bob

Recently received this jacket and as a bird / wildlife photographer who can be stood around for hours in extremely cold and windy conditions I can honestly say its amazing warmth and wind proof protection are as good as any other jacket I have ever owned
Top quality and the best price around !
