Opti-Shell fabric

Fully seam-sealed, Merrell 2.0 OptiShell® garments are waterproof and breathable, and are designed to keep your internal climate dry and comfortable. For more adverse weather, equip yourself with 2.5 OptiShell which adds a .05 print layer for extra protection.

Opti-Wick fabric

Outdoor pursuits do more than rev up your heart rate, they also make you sweat. Merrell's proprietary fabric wicks moisture away from your skin and helps regulate your internal temperature with its lightweight, breathable materials.

Opti-Warm fabric

Merrell's synthetic insulation offers several key benefits, it provides efficient warmth, maintains excellent loft, eliminates extra bulk and is highly compressible for easy packing. Cold weather adventures never felt so good.

Vibram® soles

Trails covered with dirt, rock and asphalt are hard on the soles of your footwear. Vibram uses an innovative construction and compounds that are designed to stand up to wear and tear and will help you perform on any kind of terrain. Durable slip-resistant Vibram soles can be found on many Merrell shoes, boots including the range of Barefoot running shoes.

Primaloft Eco

Primaloft, a soft, lightweight, water-resistant insulation. What more could you ask for? How about PrimaLoft Eco, an earth-friendly alternative made from 50% recycled content? Both fabrics use a proprietary process that weaves together multi-diameter fibres to keep the cold and damp out of all your adventures.
