Berghaus' popular Explorer has just lost weight, creating a great lightweight boot for use in warmer climes. As with other Explorers, it provides a high level of comfort, support, protection and grip. The suede and mesh upper has a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex® membrane; a PU midsole absorbs shocks; and it has a durable rubber outsole.

Returns
Should you wish to return a product for any reason, you may do so by taking your purchase to your nearest store within 28 days of date of dispatch. Goods can be exchanged or refunded within 28 days of dispatch. Please note that stores cannot accept returns of TOG24 or Garmin items that have been purchased online. These items must be returned by post by following the instructions detailed on the dispatch note included in your packaging.
Alternatively, for your convenience, we are pleased to offer Collect+ as an easy way to return products to us. Collect+ has parcel drop off points in over 4,500 local stores, most are open early until late, 7 days a week so you can return items at a time and place that suits you. We regret that we are unable to offer Collect+ for TOG24 or Garmin items that have been purchased online. Click here for more information about Collect+
If you don't have a store nearby or just don't have time to visit your local store, a refund can be obtained by returning the goods by post. However, please ensure that you use a tracked service and remember to include your Postal Returns Note (included with your original order).
In all instances the goods must be returned in saleable condition and in their original packaging to qualify for a 28 day refund or exchange.

Found these boots to be very light and suitable to carry when one has restricted weight for luggage. Quite a wide fit and slightly big for me but O.K. with thicker socks. As I had previously suffered from 'black toe nails' and loss of big toe nail when I was walking earlier this year I was concerned that my previous boots were too small when coming down steep inclines even though I had walked with them on many a long trail. Now have lots of room to wiggle my toes. Off to Andalucia walking over Easter so these boots are great for this.

Having spect an hour and 10 minutes in Blacks shop trying on different shoes and soaking up all the tips and advice from the female assistant I settled on these. Got a great discount online. After twelve and half mile walk I had no blisters or any other feet problems ...... for first wear (had some wear in time) that is fantastic. delighted with my purchase

These are my first pair of walking boots and I wish I'd bought some years ago. It was so much easier to walk uphill with good ankle support. I'm delighted with my Berghaus boots so far, although I haven't tested them in the rain yet. Very light and comfortable, not at all cumbersome. Would highly recommend them.

I have been wearing these boots now for a couple of month very comfortable ,light ,cannot fault them .I had no problem getting them in a half size ,and had to go down a size.

Good quality, very light and good sizing, no need to go up a size. Well padded around the ankle so no need to wear in.

These boots are the most comfortable I have ever had. I have not yet tried them in wet conditions so cannot comment, but for short treks they are superb. I would advise that the sizing is slightly different. I needed to go down a size and could really have benefitted from a half-size, but with thin socks and short toenails they are fine! Very light and good-looking. I would have a second pair!

Please could you advise if these type of walking shoe will be good for a Mount Kenya climb in Africa?
The feedback I have gotten so far is to go for comfort, and I think these look good with the ankle support too.
Can you help/advise? I would also like to use the same footwear for Safari and think these might be a good all-rounder...
