The Merrell Chameleon Slam II shoes are constructed only with man-made materials and have a synthetic and fabric upper with a breathable mesh lining. An injection moulded TPU instep stability arm is incorporated into the shoes construction which also have an anatomical footbed, compression moulded EVA footframe, Vibram® Chameleon hiker rubber soles and a protective rubber rands and toe bumpers.

Returns
Should you wish to return a product for any reason, you may do so by taking your purchase to your nearest store within 28 days of date of dispatch. Goods can be exchanged or refunded within 28 days of dispatch. Please note that stores cannot accept returns of TOG24 or Garmin items that have been purchased online. These items must be returned by post by following the instructions detailed on the dispatch note included in your packaging.
Alternatively, for your convenience, we are pleased to offer Collect+ as an easy way to return products to us. Collect+ has parcel drop off points in over 4,500 local stores, most are open early until late, 7 days a week so you can return items at a time and place that suits you. We regret that we are unable to offer Collect+ for TOG24 or Garmin items that have been purchased online. Click here for more information about Collect+
If you don't have a store nearby or just don't have time to visit your local store, a refund can be obtained by returning the goods by post. However, please ensure that you use a tracked service and remember to include your Postal Returns Note (included with your original order).
In all instances the goods must be returned in saleable condition and in their original packaging to qualify for a 28 day refund or exchange.

First of all, these are my first Merrells.
I'm a UK size 12 in my North Face Jannu2 & Endeavour Mid, Nike running shoes, my hand made Italian shoes, and my faithful MOD issue assault boots (12M - which is medium width).
Comfort, I would give 4 out of 5 because wearing these for a full day your
feet know about it - and there is some relief once taken off (bearing in mind the assault boots after being on a full 18 hours of hard lifting and walking and there is no discomfort).
On the plus, no blisters after wearing all day and feet are still fresh (Unlike some TNF footwear).
Finally, I also think the quality of the removable inner sole is poor considering Merrell have a reputation for comfort and quality.
Owned these for 10days, so I'll update in time to come.
*note: Mine are olive and not red.

After my Saloman Vegas finally died after 2 1/2 years of continuos use (i wore them every day, no exageration) i bought these based on reviews such as the ones you'll see above.
Uppers had holes in whithin 2 months. Soles had holes in 6 months.
Yes they are'nt sold as waterproof, but these shoes offer NO protection whatsoever.
They squeak when you walk, like having 2 mice mating on your feet. They are the most obvious case of form over function i've ever purchased. They are now 8 months old and totally destroyed. If you do anything other than take romantic walks in groomed city parks, or if you are anything other than the type of suedo 'outdoor-dad' type who buys whats just been reveiwed in mens health magazine, then forget about these poor shoes.
I'll not buy anything by merrell again. I'm going back to Saloman.

Always order a size bigger than you usually take and these fine items of foot apparel will assist in avoidance of the pedorthist and podiatrist. With the vibrant and striking red colour, One shall certainly strike a pose in these great shoes. Note very slippy on wet glazed tiles and granite rock.

Absolutely the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. They fit like a second skin, (although slightly tight until they bed in). So good that this is my third pair. I did venture to a pair of The North Face Hedgehogs but I soon came back for more....!

I would agree with most of the other reviews in particular I wish i had paid more attention to the comments about size. You need to get the next size up from what ever you are so if your a size ten get elevens.

This is the 3rd pair that I have owned and each one has performed well, although as always with Merrell's I went up a size I can't fault these shoes they have never failed me i don't think I've even replaced the laces..
