How can I pay for my goods?
You can pay using either a credit or debit card either online or via the telephone. We currently accept Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro, Solo and American Express. We are signed-up to the Verified by Visa and Mastercard Secure schemes, which provide extra protection for you when shopping online with Blacks.
Am I charged for the items as soon as I order them?
No - we will only charge you when your items are despatched.
How do I know when my order has been received?
Once you have completed the checkout process you will be given an order reference number and we will send you a confirmation email to the email address that you provided at the time of the order. The email will detail your order that you have placed with the order reference number, products and total order value. It is important that you retain the order reference number to ensure that we can resolve any queries that you may have about your order quickly.
Can I cancel or change an order?
Yes, although it does depend on the current status of your order and whether it is ready for despatch. Should you need to cancel or change an order, please call our Customer Services team on 0800 66 54 10 with your order reference number and they will be able to help you.
How do I return an item I have purchased?
You can either take it back to any Blacks Stores and get a refund or an exchange or alternatively the goods can be returned to our returns centre for a refund. The goods can either be posted (to the address below) or for collections please call the Customer Services team on 0800 66 54 10 and they will be able to arrange a convenient collection time for you. Do I need to register to shop online?
No, you can shop at www.blacks.co.uk without needing to register; if you choose not to register, we will not hold your details for any reason other than the purposes of your transaction. For further transactions with us you would need to tell us your details again.
However, registering will enable you to track your orders online, view your full order history, update your personal details, manage your address book and change your payment details, all in one secure area. You'll also be able to purchase more quickly and easily if you're logged in.
Can I buy gift vouchers online?
The Outdoor Gift Voucher is now available to buy online in denominations of £10 and £25.
Gift vouchers are the ideal present for outdoor enthusiasts when you're not sure what to buy and can be redeemed in all Blacks, Millets and Freespirit stores.
