Description
The path cuts deeply into the hillside of Ben Nevis so is easy to follow. However there are some steep parts. Walkers should stay on the path at all times. Buzzards and kestrels can usually be seen.
Ben Nevis is a popular mountain, however, even in the summer can be dangerous. Walkers should be sensibly equipped with walking boots, maps, compasses and warm clothing. Visibility can be poor, and it can be very cold even in the summer.
