Suitability
Designed to deliver protection in variable weather conditions, The North Face Evolution Triclimate Jacket is a versatile 3 in 1 jacket. Ideal for England's changeable weather conditions, the Evolution Triclimate Jacket comprises of a waterproof and breathable nylon outer jacket and a removable fleece jacket.
With three ways to wear the jacket, the removable inner fleece can be worn alone or zipped into the nylon outer jacket for optimum warmth when the cold weather sets in.
Wear the waterproof nylon outer jacket alone in wet conditions where the weather is still warm. Or wear the fleece jacket to defeat the cold on dry days where there is a slight chill in the air. And for days where the weather is cold and wet, combine the 2 jackets for comprehensive protection against the elements.
Technology
Engineered to withstand a variety of weather conditions, the seam sealed waterproof and breathable outer shell can handle everything from light drizzle to pelting blizzards with an ultra-breathable HyVent™ shell to encourage air flow and keep you fresh, while the fleece jacket featured to the Evolution Triclimate incorporates state-of-the-art Heatseeker™ insulation to lock core warmth in.
Features
Features sealed seams, a storm flap, a fully adjustable storable hood and Velcro® adjustable cuffs. There are 2 zipped hand pockets and 1 Napoleon pocket on the outer jacket. Machine washable.
From the fully adjustable hood with single-hand cinchcords through to the protective double Stormflaps, every inch of this jacket has been meticulously designed to offer supreme shelter from the elements.
And of course, thanks to its supreme adaptability and zip in/out fleece, you can wear it your way - as a complete 3-in-1 system or as a jacket or fleece alone.

Should you wish to return a product for any reason, you may do so by taking your purchase to your nearest store within 28 days of date of dispatch. Goods can be exchanged or refunded within 28 days of dispatch. Please note that stores cannot accept returns of TOG24 or Garmin items that have been purchased online. These items must be returned by post by following the instructions detailed on the dispatch note included in your packaging.
Alternatively, for your convenience, we are pleased to offer Collect+ as an easy way to return products to us. Collect+ has parcel drop off points in over 4,500 local stores, most are open early until late, 7 days a week so you can return items at a time and place that suits you. I needed to replace a similar North Face jacket. I chose this one as I could not fault the previous. I must say that I have not regretted that decision.
It is warm and dry when needed to be warm and dry. It is rugged but fits in with office wear. The addition of vents helps to relieve that uncomfortable wet under-the-arm feeling is brilliant. The fold away hood is convenient and neat. Additional pockets are very helpful especially the breast pocket. Having access to the pockets of the fleece while wearing the outer layer just adds to the positives. I am looking forward to next winter in order to really try it out.
The only problem I have had is the angle of the outer jacket pocket. It was designed with the assumption that one would reach for the pocket moving one's hand horizontally. I find myself always reaching vertically and having to adjust. Also they angle the same as the slots for getting to the fleece pockets so you have to ensure you miss the first and get the second pocket.

I bought this jacket to replace my old 4 year old North Face Jacket, which I loved and used everyday.
I have to say it was a terrible decision. The quality of this jacket is light years away from my old one. The construction is poor. There are holes in both pockets after only a few weeks, the fleece doesnt sit properly inside the jacket and it looks like its losing it's shape already.
I'm VERY disapointed with this purchase and it will be last time I ever buy another North Face product. Such a shame.

A very good jacket. I brought this to use both at home and during my out door office. Durable and looks very good. Works well with the fleece detached whilst carrying weight. The under arm zips are useful to get vital cool air once things warm up a little.
