Boasting generous standing space with a spacious two compartment design, the Outwell Explorer Family Tent provides a comfortable sleeping space and ample storage for your luggage and other possessions.

When designing the Explorer Tent, Outwell had the whole family’s comfort in mind, it is for this reason that the tent goes against the industry standard of 60cm per person in each bedroom and instead provides you with 70-80cm of room.The extra room provided by the Explorer tent allows three people sleeping on air beds to camp in comfort or up to five people sleeping without airbeds to comfortably camp.

For excellent access, the Outwell Explorer tent has a two door design, featuring an extended doorway to the front and a rain-safe door with a protective canopy to the side.

Great for all the family, the Outwell Explorer Tent will provide fun for the kids when camping. Part of Outwell’s Fantasy Collection, the tent features a specific kids room that is packed with features including a kids-only entrance, a special low ceiling, three soft balls and an overhead net for on-ur-back basketball. Additional fun at night time is provided by starry scenery when it gets dark.

Suitable for all weather conditions

Designed to cope with adverse weather conditions, the Outwell Explorer Family Tent features a very impressive hydrostatic head of 4000mm, which is more than equipped to tackle the heavy showers that the UK and Europe can often experience. This is complimented by a taped seam design, a waterproof flysheet and a double coated polyethylene sewn in ground sheet that offers protection from the elements, dirt and insects.

Utilising Outwell’s Wind Stabiliser System, the Explorer tent will remain stable whatever the weather. Using a strong Velcro fastening system as a direct attachment point for the flysheet and the tent poles, the Wind Stabiliser System will equip the tent for strong gales with wind speeds of up to 54mph, ensuring it remains stable even in winds strong enough to blow the branches off of trees.

While the strength and durability of the tent is increased with reinforcement patches to all stress points on the tent.

Mesh inner storage pockets ensure your personal effects are neatly organised whilst pre-attached luminous guylines ensures your tent is visible to those around you.

Easy to pitch

Pitching the Explorer tent is simple. Using Outwell’s Easy Pegging System you are provided with three different colour coded types of pegs which ensure easy and stable pitching of the tent. The pegs provided are grey anchor steel pegs for the four corners, luminous plastic pegs for the luminous guy lines and heavy-duty pegs for the side pegging points. Complimenting this pegging system are the pre-attached guy lines and the adjustable pegging points.
