The Women’s Air Span +5 shoes have been made on a gender-specific last that is built around the distinct shape of a woman’s foot to appeal to slight overpronators who like to log big miles and need moderate stability from a lightweight shoe at an affordable price. The Air Span +5 uses open mesh uppers expansively for exceptional breathability and comfort and have strategically placed synthetic-leather overlays that work in concert with the lacing system for a great fit with very little added weight. The shoes have a moulded EVA sockliner with women’s-specific Heel Cradle geometery that conforms to the shape of the foot and an encapsulated Air-Sole units within the forefoot and heel to provide cushioning along with the full-length, lightweight Phylon midsole. Shock absorbing, gender-specific, radiused crash pad absorb impact shock and help moderate both the range and rate of pronation. A small, high-density medial post enhances support and stability and the highly-abrasion-resistant BRS 1000 carbon rubber outsole has a a Waffle Fill and deep, gender-specific flex grooves for great traction
