NOT WATERPROOF!
I always buy Rab, i bought this jacket but the womens. I can say is showerproof at a push, i used mine only days ago in heavy rain, it lasted about 20mins before it started to go through. Luckily it was warm and not cold. Never had a issue with any Rab products but this! I woukd have been better off with a Karrimor jacket because thats what my walking partner was wearing she was dry, just goes to show the brand means nothing. I would not buy this product.

Bought this jacket for my husband and he is very pleased with it. Colour is definitely black not grey as it seems in the picture. Very lightweight but fit is true to size and lovely hood.

Not waterproof I’m afraid! Can handle a light shower but once the rain starts in earnest it doesn’t repel it. I’ve been soaked a couple of times now wearing this to walk in winter conditions and am therefore disappointed with this jacket for the money.
