Used on a 5 day camping trip last year and it fit the bill. Hung it from the ceiling loop to light up a 3 birth tent. Like the dimmer switch option which allowed me to leave it on as a night light on the lowest setting so my teen could find their way into the tent without disturbing me once I'd gone to bed. The batteries lasted no problem. Really pleased with my purchase, does the job, isn't bulky or heavy so easy to pack, and unlike everything else, think it's gone down in price this year. Definitely worth the money!
