Well built, but heavy
I bought this to replace my old 'Henley' brand director's chair, the fabric back and seat of which was beginning to fray and give up the ghost, even though the frame is still sturdy.
This replacement looked ideal, but at twice the weight of my old Henley I think I'll be reupholstering that instead, as I wont be able to lug the new heavy one to the locations I like to paint.
So in conclusion, its well made, but too heavy to be truly 'portable'.

T. This chair is well made and is ideal for caravanning holidays, picnics and enjoying a glass of wine in the garden - the pop-up side table is ideal for this. The quality of the chair and it’s sturdy manufacture means that it is not suitable if you have to carry it any distance but it will last many years for the type of activity I have described.
